Block a number
From the call log:
Open Hiya Spam Blocker and find the number in your list of calls
Tap the call entry to see call details
Tap Block this number to add it to your personal block list
Block a number manually:
Go to the Blocking screen and view your Block list
Tap the button with the plus sign to add a phone number to the list
Enter the phone number and tap Block
Unblock a number
Go to the Blocking screen and view your Block list
Find the number you want to unblock
Tap Unblock to remove it You can also swipe left (iPhone) or tap the X (Android) to remove a number from the list.
What the colored icons mean
You may notice a colored circle next to each blocked number. This reflects what kind of caller it is — orange for suspected spam, red for scam or fraud, blue for a business, and gray for an unknown caller. The color doesn't change the fact that the number is blocked: if it's in your Block List, calls from it are blocked.
Good to know
Blocked callers are sent directly to voicemail — they won't know they've been blocked
