You don't have to uninstall to take a break from Hiya Spam Blocker. Depending on what you want to stop, here are your options — all reversible.
If you have Call Screener enabled and just want calls to come through normally for a bit, you can snooze screening or turn off Screen my calls. See how to use Call Screener on Android or iPhone.
If calls are not reaching you, you may need to deactivate Call Screener.
Open Hiya Spam Blocker → Settings and tap Deactivate (Android: under Call Screening & Visual Voicemail; iPhone: Deactivate Call Screener) — this removes call forwarding from your carrier line.
Still not receiving your calls? See Call forwarding and accessing voicemails for more details and troubleshooting steps.
Adjust your blocking settings:
Android: in the Hiya Spam Blocker app, open Premium → Spam Blocking and turn off the categories you don't want blocked.
iPhone: in the Hiya Spam Blocker app, open Blocking and turn off the categories you don't want blocked.
Android: in your phone's Settings → Apps → Default apps, change your default phone app (and Caller ID & spam app) back to your phone's built-in app.
iPhone: in Settings → Phone → Call Blocking & Identification, turn off all Hiya switches.
Your account and block list stay intact. To remove the app completely, see How to uninstall Hiya Spam Blocker.
